"Thanks To The Morales Family For Making A Big Difference!!!"

We had a successful day at the Bashas store at 67th ave and Deer Valley road yesterday. I want to thank the Morales family, Paul, Monica, Lexi and even Pauls brother Alex showed up. The Morales family has been a huge reason this event has been so successful, I just wish they could come with us for the entire two months on the journey. I have a feeling a few years from now Lexi will be operating our marketing department. "Pink Heals" it really can!!!!

Paulina Chambers fundraiser at Chandler Schools

We where invited to Chandler Schools today to be apart of a fundraiser for a special lady today, Paulina Chambers. Chandler Schools raised $4,500 dollars for Paulina and Steve Ybarra a long time friend of mine asked us to come by and be a part of this special event for Paulina. The Guardians of the Ribbon MC'd the event and Paulina signed the trailer. We also had a number of people buy the t-shirts that we brought, so Chandler will be in pink on the 25th, 26th and 27th of October.

"My Thoughts about what we are trying to accomplish"

I am trying to create more awareness for the fight against breast cancer by having people who would not normally wear pink, wear pink due to the Pink Ribbon Tour.

Move ahead a year and picture a pink fire truck going down the street with pink lights, four firefighters in pink turnouts ready for action. But instead of going to a typical emergency, they will be going to a breast cancer patients home. Once there we will sit down with the person and tell them we are going to take care of their bills. I would like for us to have more than one pink fire truck and have different offices throughout the Country. We would hire retired firefighters to carry out our missions and use the local hospitals and Non Profit Organizations for the list of recipients that qualify for the money. I want the money to touch the individuals personal needs and give them relief from the burden of bills due to the disease.

I plan on raising the money from the sale of our shirts and apparel on our web-site. I have come up with some great designs that I have trademarked and one in particular our "Pink Heals" logo. We can't keep these in stock and we are always looking for more money, so we can replenish our shelves. Please purchase these shirts once we have them online, this will be the way we eventually will make a difference in someones life. Thanks Dave Graybill

"The City of Las Cruces welcomes the Guardians of the Ribbon"

We traveled 500 miles to Las Cruces New Mexico, for a photo shoot and parade through their town. It was such a great experience seeing so many people come together for our organization. Las Cruces Fire and Police and their citizens are a perfect example of why this Country is so wonderful. We hope all the cities across the Country will get involved with this great event. Thanks to Wally Monsivaiz and the fire fighters from Las Cruces for putting this together.

"Arizona State Baseball Supporting the Guardians of the Ribbon"

We visited ASU Friday and threw out the first pitch of the game, we also sold more t-shirts to help buy our fire truck. Thanks to the gang in the baseball office and Pat Murphy for allowing us to put the Ribbon right in the middle, where all the fans could see the statue. ASU gave me more than just an education and sports career, it taught me how to give back to the community.

A Wells Fargo Visit by the Guardians of the Ribbon

We visited a wonderful lady at Wells Fargo the other day who is battling breast cancer, her name is Kathy Chapman. It was a surprise visit by the Guardians of the Ribbon, organized by her dear friend Stacy Main. We shared some stories and shed a few tears and even sold a few shirts. We are doing what we set out to do and that is to provide inspiration to the folks who are in need of a little pick-me-up along their journey. God Bless You Kathy we will always be there for you!!!!

Rhino Poker Run A Hit!!!!

We had a good time at the "Bobbi's Breast Friends Poker Run." We sold more t-shirts and spread the "Cares Enough to Wear Pink campaign" message. Steve (shorty) Bogle, Jeffrey Maxwell, Steve Cannon, Matt Bender and myself all took turns wearing our pink turnouts. I want to also thank Monica Morales for helping us sell shirts and for keeping us in line, something happens to us when we are in pink, we hope she stays on board for many years to come.

Thanks to Valley Classical Christian School

We had about 200 people at the school, they even let me get up on stage and talk to everybody about the upcoming tour across America. Ladder 20 from the Phoenix Fire Department came and entertained the kids for an hour and some Phoenix fire fighters came and wore some pink turnouts. I want to thank Angelique and Dr. Tolbert for including us in there school function. Our Pink Ribbon Tour is growing by the day and I can't wait to get started across the Country. We even did a short video with some folks to send in to the game show "Deal or No Deal" hopefully we get a call and I can maybe win some money.
